When I first became a Published Author (in 2010), I intuitively recognized that, in order to become a Bestselling Author, I would have to treat being an Author as a Business! So, I became what I called an Authorpreneur. And in today's publishing industry, that's even more of a necessity than it was a dozen years ago!
Before we go any further, I do want to offer a caveat:
It's perfectly okay to just be an Author.
What do I mean by that?
If all you want to do is write and publish the book(s) of your heart, so you can show your friends and family that you've done that and crossed it off your Bucket List, that's perfectly fine!
